The Remembrance Day ceremony is synonymous with the War veterans around the World. Commemorated with much march parades, military pageantry, observance of silent tributes & bestowal of honors on both the living veterans and the courageously departed alike. The day is though embellished with the wearing of the red poppy in some countries, courtesy of the remembrance of the bloody World War 1 battlefield.
Ornamental wreathes displays lend poignant reflections on past and current campaigns. This annual occasion commands National significance atleast for one day. With no shortage of praise but much credit for the dexterity of the red poppy charities striving to keep alive memories of these national heroes/heroines;the fate of surviving veterans hang in uncertainty. No doubt the lives of many are being affected through this laudable gesture.
But how about those veterans who have become homeless,family-less,lost their dignified status since becoming enemies of the very state they once served? Such become misunderstood, ostracised,or labelled as miscreants, disorientated and shell shocked entities;seeing there is no cure for their "P.T.S.D"s! The meaning of this will resonate well with many new mothers who's suffered post natal blues..or depressions in the past! Many have unconsciously murdered their innocent babies in the heat of the moment. The same holds for the military folks who've gone through a traumatic war experience in the "Labour Room of War". They are sure to remain scarred for life!
This DVD chronicles the lives of two War veterans in their attempt to uncover the struggles and pains of families, friends, children, and most of all the helplessness the soldier faces secretly well after active duty. They both had last served 40years ago, but all they needed was to step on the ground of the war field and a classic re-living begins!

With daily plagues of "dreams of war";and the innumerable bottled-in temper, fear,or anxiety(sometimes triggered by flashbacks or sinister situations):its often the families and partners of these erstwhile or even active combatants that tend to live with or end with the bittersweet aftermath of the war within! Not because there weren't adequate medical attention given to help out, but the fact remains that, this internal war is not a short term fix but takes a life-time recovery process.
And this is regardless of the War campaigns those close to us may have participated in. Be it World War I,II;The Falklands Wars; even the Civil and other guerilla Wars; the Gulf War; and others including the ongoing War on Terrorism.
There's a message of hope, redemption, emotional healings, marital reconciliations for families involved with these ex-servicemen in this DVD, and I'd surely advise everyone grab a copy.
If nothing, but to simply have a feel of what often goes through the heads of our men when away from their families, and how difficult they find it to adjust back into "normal life" -if they ever make it back alive! Pertinently, the DVD would help point challenging relationships in the right direction.
