Movie Review: TO SAVE A LIFE DVD.

Christians have no business partaking in Halloween celebrations or the values it portrays to stand for -being a pagan affair.
But parents of teenagers had better watch-out and paid closer attention at their wards.

Nobody would ever link a seemingly harmless Online Game like "Wizard Wars" to teenagers harboring a world of dark secrets. Such dark secrets which could plunge souls into captivity as slaves of: suicidal thoughts, substance misuse, self-harm,rejection, and sexual experimentation.
But this and more transpired in the Christian themed movie To Save a Life A well written script performed by a believable cast. It portrays an informed view into the "highly-charged" lives of young adults, dysfunctional family units, and the need to be a worthy Samaritan.
But it took a missed opportunity by Jake Taylor(Randy Wayne)-a multi-talented athlete to spot and stop a familiar nemesis in its track from repeating itself. Since witnessing how a once-upon-a-time childhood best-friend committed suicide. Although Roger Dawson(Robert Bailey Jr.)the late friend, had suffered a deformity as a result of a childhood accident. Jake ought to have been the victim but Roger sacrificed his own leg for him, on that occasion.
This inner-guilt and pondering for answers led Jake to God. Ironically,he had to learn that coming to God or living a Christian life didn't mark the end of life woes. But the grace to overcome a similar ridicule, neglect, confusion and pain which gnawed at his youthful academic dream was all he needed to turn the game around, and thus Save A Life!

Parents,Guardians, and even Preachers are may certainly be unable to pick out the activities of their "pot" active teenagers;or those on the way to the abortion clinic;or even the self-mutilating cum suicidally susceptible. But maybe by spending a little more time with them,or by taking a conciliatory interest in their well-being, such senseless deaths could be averted.
Always remembering that all our kids or teenagers alike, are all God's heritage; we are only accountable caretakers!
I'd strongly recommend To Save a Life to all parents with teenagers, youth workers, and adults alike as a must-see movie for the whole family.
